Welcome to Amicis, chef Alexandre Baumard’s Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant located in the heart of the iconic Grands Hommes quarter in the famous Golden Triangle.
Amicis is first and foremost a happening place, spread over 2 floors and open from Monday to Friday.
In this “gastronomic living space”, we like to honour the wealth of the land, sea and nature on our menu every day.
Each of our dishes pays tribute to a cuisine resolutely focused on creative, aesthetic seafood and a subtle combination of treasures of the terroir, with the determination to enhance the produce from local farmers and breeders.
“We combine new flavours and create new taste balances to offer unique and delicate dishes, enhancing textures, sauces and cooking techniques. Our aim is to share moments of pleasure and discovery through wines from near and far, and to ensure that Amicis is a source of unforgettable emotions and memories.” Alexandre Baumard
Upstairs, La Table AMICIS, a cozier and more private a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, offers an open view of the kitchen, with a unique menu of 7 courses, in a hushed, intimate and cozy atmosphere.
“The idea is to show that we are all working together around a truly happening place.”
Opened less than a year ago, Amicis is the fruit of the ambition and entrepreneurial daring of Executive Chef Alexandre Baumard. After brilliantly proving himself alongside some of the greatest names in the world, including his mentors and friends Benoit Vidal, Paul Bocuse, Christophe Bacquié, Fabien Ferré and Laurent Saudeau, he decided to embark on a new adventure by creating his own establishment with his partner Damien Amilien, the pastry chef. His aim is to offer refined, creative cuisine that highlights the richness of the land, sea and nature of the Aquitaine region. His culinary approach, combining technical precision and artistic sensitivity, won over the Michelin Guide inspectors, who awarded him his first star on 31 March 2025. This distinction rewards the hard work and talent of Chefs Alexandre Baumard and Damien Amilien and their entire team, who work hard every day to offer an exceptional gastronomic experience.
This accolade is all the more exceptional given that Chefs Alexandre Baumard and Damien Amilien had already been awarded the Michelin Guide's dazzling star on two previous occasions, in 2017 and 2021. Hailed as a ‘Grand of Tomorrow’ by Gault & Millau in 2021, Alexandre Baumard combines a passion for the culinary arts with virtuosity. This latest accolade testifies to his meteoric rise in the world of gastronomy and his ability to constantly push back the boundaries of culinary creativity.Today, this third distinction has been awarded to his own establishment, confirming his talent and his commitment to gastronomic excellence.
« Believing means creating and never giving up on your dreams!
